This family-friendly 20 percent DEET formula significantly reduces the rate of DEET absorption by 67% per application, and it extends the duration of its effectiveness up to 11 hours. Comfortable for use in the backcountry or in the backyard, this EPA-approved formula controls DEET exposure by encapsulating DEET in a protein that dissolves slowly, releasing the DEET over a longer period of time. It's designed to be compatible with the use of sunscreen, and it can be used in conjunction with Sawyer Permethrin insect repellent clothing treatment for double protection.
